American Legion 500 Post veterans and community residents paid tribute
to fallen soldier Cpl Zachary Nordmeyer on June 13 at the legion's post
on Georgetown Road.
Nordmeyer was killed in February 23, 2009 while serving our country in
Iraq. Nordmeyer was a graduate of Ben Davis and a member of the 500 Post.
Eric Ward of Indy BodyWerks honored Nordmeyer, Cpl Michael Mayne and Spc. Michael Alleman, who were also killed that day with Nordmeyer, by airbrushing the soldier's images on a truck belonging to Zachary's uncle Brian.
