Surveyors Provide More Information To HNTB(posted 7.1.07) Marion County Surveyors returned to shoot elevations in the 2100 and 2000 block of Allison, Gerrard and Winton Avenue on June 28 and 29. This time, the assignment was to find elevations of the combined sewer and sanitary lines. HNTB Engineers Tom Hutka and John Duncan requested the additional elevations. Duncan said there were deficiencies with the information at the June 21 storm water drainage board meeting; therefore, he did not have a solution to solve the drainage problems that have created sewage backups in basements. The surveyors were out in May shooting elevations only for the storm water drains. The next drainage board meeting is July 19 at 5 p. m. The storm water drainage board hears surface water problems. |
